• ​Reemo acoustic underlay is a rubber and cork composite with impact sound Insulation qualities. Available in thicknesses of 3mm & 5mm.

• Acoustic underlay insulation to be used on concrete floors. Ceramic, stone, hardwood, laminates and vinyl floor finishes can be laid directly on top.

This product is designed to be used on concrete floors as a resilient layer to aid impact sound reduction.

​

Please note that this product is NOT to be used in timber framed constructions.

​

• All surfaces should be clean - free of dust, dirt, debris & oil.

• Any holes should be filled & smoothed over.

• Prime the floor with a PVA Sealer if necessary.

• Rolls should be laid flat for 24 hours before installation to acclimatise in a ventilated area.

• Apply 1.5mm of flooring adhesive & leave for 20 minutes untill tacky.

• Now you can lay the Reemo Acoustic Underlay

• When laying, flooring joints should be tightly butted together.

• Leave 2mm clearance gap from the perimeter of the wall / skirting. Fill this gap with AC95 Acoustic Sealant.

• Use a roller to smooth out the underlay.

• DO NOT use mechanical fixings through the underlay.

• Now you are ready to add your floor covering.

Reemo Acoustic Underlay can be fitted over minimum 65mm sand & cement screeds, minimum 40mm proprietary screeds or levelling compounds.

 

The structural floor must be a minimum mass of 300Kg/m2 per unit area.
